West Race Cars/Accumoto is pleased to formally introduce our chassis upgrade 'UEC conversion' package. This package is specifically intended for cars produced between 2002-2004 with a first generation semi-stressed rear-end.
Retrofitting your chassis provides several benefits including:
Ø Non stressed or 'cradled' motor for greater motor longevity
Ø Stiffer chassis design lending to greater 'tunability' of the suspension and faster lap times
Ø Flexibility of motor selections from Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha or Honda. This includes both the larger Hayabusa and ZX14 motors!
Ø IMSA Lites 2 legal when spec'd with a sealed Kawasaki ZX10
Ø Only sports racer produced that is DSR and IMSA Lites competitive
The retrofit includes the following modifications:
Ø Remove original Rear clip from firewall back
Ø Jig frame and complete tig weld of 4130 chromoly to UEC specification
Ø Fabricate Rear Clip Motor mounts (customer may specify Kawasaki or Suzuki)
Ø Fabricate new Motor mount inserts
Ø Fabricate Differential Case motor mount
Ø CNC Machine '07 West billet Differential case (front bulkhead, L/R side plates, bottom plate, top plate & rear bulkhead)
Ø Paint
